I read the novel and let's just say he's not going to find out she was abused by her dad for a loooong while, so we have to bear with Riftan thinking she is a pampered noble
should i say this according to what i have read maxi will have a miscarriage she will go back to her father because she thinks that riftan hates her now and riftan will eventually go pick her up but he witnessed that maxi is being beated by its father and thats how riftan will find out about maxi's situation
after reading and following the novel im really happy about maximillian's character growth tbh ruth may be straightforward and a little bit rude but maxi needs that to grow and be a strong person.
and guys dont hope so soon about riftan finding out about maxi's father beating her... its a tradegy:(
