It's my theory but I think the taran houses doctor did something (but he probably dont remember) because when he met her in the past he discovered that she ate that plant (mugwort I think?) so she could bear a taran child, a girl. Boy can only be born between two tarans, and the doctor want to keep up the bloodline (= Lucias daugter with the duke X the dukes "son"/her cousin, yeah kinda incest) And thats why the duke doesn't want a child, bc he despises the taran bloodline and want his nephew to be the last taran.

No wth- what is wrong with these spoilers ㅠㅠ it's not reincarnation or psychic abilities. It's an artifact from her mom's family. It's a long story, but the point is that the artifact is from her ancestor. The ancestor said that the artifact will keep her family safe from a crisis. But Lucia's mom stole it when she ran away. The way it works is basically once she activated it, she will get a long ass dream of what will happen in the future till the day she dies (you can say it memory too). And she remembers that dream vividly, that's why she can still be traumatized by the events in the dream.
One thing tho, she activated it when she was a child, so she doesn't remember everything. She will start to remember some sweet moments that happened in the dream in the side story if I'm not mistaken.
Oh btw, the artifact is gone now cause it already fulfilled its purpose. In the dream, Lucia hears about how her mom's family is no more. After the dream, now that Lucia is well off, she will meet her grandpa and solve the family crisis.
