I think that only the ml said he didnt want kid the main character just know that she cant and since he doesnt want to it kind of works out... but yes they are both expected to conceive so thats why the female doctor is searching for a cure she think thats gonna help lucia to find a cure while the ml uncle is malicious and just want to continue the bloodline of the family... so focus the hatred on that bastard and yes they do have a really cute sont already :D
In the ML's case its vaild since his bloodline isn't able to produce unless its by incest. That's why he banned his previous doctor from his castle and appearing in front of Lucia. Lucia accidentally made herself infertile by eating a lot of mugworts (I think) when she had her period because of pure neglect.
But yeah, if only they communicate those reasons and have reasonable people, I wouldn't be peeved lol.
Both of them has reasons why they don't want a kid, but if they want to do so in the future after they settled their issues then what's wrong with it?
There would be nothing wrong if the resolved all their issues. But they have some pretty big issues. And I don't like these doctors scheming around Lucia's womb while this couple is still trying to get on solid ground. They haven't even established that they have mutual feelings yet. If she were to pop up pregnant right now the seeds could be sown for a very dysfunctional family dynamic.
