its a little hard to tell but it was definitely Akihito. Asami only says happy birthday to him.

It was Akihito muttering half-asleep. In the first panel Asami has his eyes closed, but then he opens them, startled, when he hears Akihito.
It's easier to see his expression without the watermarks.
