same i hate the prince but i feel a lil bad too
It's the conflicting feelings of "you could've been better but chose not to (and we can kinda see why)" and "you're getting what you deserve"
I think the most plausible reason of us feeling like this (torn apart between hate and empathy) is because all of us know what "regret" actually feel..
Crown Prince being Crown Prince knew he was the most sought after and become womanizer because those women chase after him first.
And now he regrets it so muchhhhh for rejecting Chloe.. I mean, all this past chapters about his jerk-like-actions is strated from his regrets for Chloe's love.
I feel kinda bad for the prince but at the same time I don’t. He knows he doesn’t feel competent enough and he has an inferiority complex. He doesn’t feel that he’s good enough and I just find that part of him sad. But at the same time, I don’t feel bad for him for the way he treats women and the way he is acting towards the duchess. Ugh.
