If you can support the author, so do it, but stop putting comments on the authors' social networks denouncing sites where the chapters are illegally uploaded, because that somehow affects the emotional health of the author.
I repeat, help if you can, but do it quietly, and those who read illegally, also do it quietly,
There is no need to create storms and fights, illegal sites to read will never cease to exist. many people do not have the legal way to read and I know that they and even myself included, we would like to be able to help and buy, unfortunately we still do not have the economic capacity to do it, but as soon as I can buy to read legal, then I will help the author buying the chapters.
AND THE PEOPLE WHO ARE "TAKING IT TO BE AS A JUSTICE HEROES" DENOUNCING AND TELLING IN THE SOCIAL MEDIA OF THE AUTHOR THAT IN "SUCH" PAGE IS UPLOADING THEIR WORK..., IS NOT HELPING THE AUTHOR, THAT IS JUST MAKING THAT THE AUTHOR GET MENTALLY SICK.

Y'all are taking issue on her choice of words and you use that to invalidate her point. We choose to ignore her grievances and instead make it all about ourselves and how we got offended by being called thieves. Why? So we could rationalize our own illegal behavior? Misdirection? We are so critical of her and yet we fail (or refuse) to criticize our own faults.
I read the tweets and it got me asking, why are we even playing the victim card here? When has poverty or financial incapacity ever justified stealing or the use of stolen gains? Webtoon isn't even an essential commodity.
Please realize that our usual arguments that we couldn't afford or we don't understand korean is a form of gaslighting, a psychological abuse. It's basically saying, "It's not our fault that we read illegally. It's yours because your work is expensive or you didn't have it officially translated in our language." Let's stop blaming the actual victims and just graciously accept the fact that we are indeed thieves or enablers thereof.
Sweety listen I understand what she coming from but I don't think that is a fucking excuse to say that get off your high horse you same as us I'm just saying what she said was very unprofessional I'm not going to defend a grown ass woman for saying shit she should have not said she could used better wording
Did you actually read my reply? When did I say I'm not the same as you? I said 'we' many times. The least WE could do is accept the label.
You say you understand her but you're here condemning her alone as if she's the bad guy. Nitpicking her words as if it's the main and grave issue here. You're also an adult (maybe), you should probably learn how to empathize properly.
She was talking about Spanish speaking countries i don't care what she call me but call people who doing it not the whole country I understand why she mad but that doesn't justify shit she a grown ass woman having a tantrum on the internet and saying shit like that doesn't excuse you from criticism if she didn't like criticism why the hell would she make a story then stay off the internet
She literally said xenophobia shit and everyone defend this author like what??? She even used I can't be racist if I have insert race friend excuse
