I'm pretty sure only Cale knows they are from the Cat Clan and he doesn't want to expose that information. He just wants everyone to believe they are normal cats
there are lots of possible reasons:
1) their identity is being hidden. it would be weird to see the two kids keep appearing and disappearing
2) the dragon have a trauma bc of humans so he doesnt wanna transform into one and on and hong consider the dragon as their real sibling so theyre staying in their cat forms for him
3) its easier to travel w two cats than w two kids
I guess i have to read another novel...
Why dont the cats change into their human form anymore? They were pretty cute as human kids
