İf he seriously regretted his actions and wanted to redeem himself fpr abandoning a literal pregnant orphan, he shouldnt be so forcrfull and instead wait that the other comes into him by himself
But kang is still just a selfish idiot who thinks he can be forgiven for abandoning his lover and child for 7 years just bc he treated them right for a few months

I think fixing his sister scandal was a big first step, also he has been focusing on being a good father. Honestly that would be the first thing I expect out of him for a partner, not him trying to be good to me but trying to be good to our child first and foremost. It’s true he’s jumping the gun, because he is selfish but I think all of his actions have centered towards trying to make up as fast as he can for all the time he was gone as a dad and as a chronically ill person who doesn’t know how much time he has left to live

A really important thing for example is how he put all of the assets he had to his daughters name, because he knows he sick and could die. I think our main character recognizes that he can’t just pretend everything‘s OK because he did hurt him, but he of course doesn’t want to create any more unnecessary hurting or drama and affect his child... his family has been so welcoming towards his daughter, she’s happy and smiling and now she can have access to better education, he doesn’t have to rely on his sister and he can finally give her everything he didn’t have. It’ll take time, but I’m glad that that’s where the focus has been for Kang!
