Yeah he’s only 20 and has had a pretty traumatic life. He was clearly unready and did NOT want byul. Although he came to love byul he was scared and Dojin gaslighted him and manipulated him into having a child
We shouldn't blame either of them.
Even though dojin didn't want hyesung to abort the child, he did not force him or something like that. He left the choice to hyesung. And hyesung agreed to keep the child. But i understand he was confused abd scared. Both of them was not in the wrong.
But Dojin quite literally manipulated and gilt tripped hyesung into ha being a kid. The original contract was to have hyesung have the baby although he didn’t want to but he would get benefits and Dojin would be the only guardian for Byul. Throughout their relationship Dojin tried to persuade Hyesung to stay and when he finally had the baby Hyesung wasn’t ready and chose to leave. Later when they’re reunited they are happy only because Hyesung learns to love Byul. Let’s not also forget that Dojin has forced himself into Hyesung more than twice and knotted him involuntarily as well.

Don't criticize hyesung too much. He's not a good birth-mother figure at first but I always always found moments when he begged dojin to stop and not forcing him to give birth. Dojin was pushing him too much in my pov so I couldn't blame hyesung for being irresponsible and scared.
