kurose is not sure if he committed suicide, his mother told him she heard some voice about nishigaki maybe he is disappeared and MAYBE committed suicide then kurose started to think that is his fault. Kurose reads a book about mysophobia and it left a big impression on him of how sad and awful this condition is. He want to help shirotani because he knows how horrible is mysophobia and that time wasn't able to help nishigaki so now he is trying to help shirotani. SHIROTANI IS NOT A REPLACEMENT OF NISHIGAKI kurose want to help him but things has changed and he started to fall in love with him.
I actually believed that he was a replacement for him until I saw these raws. I think kurose genuinely love shirotani. He's said that several times and I think the reason why he wants to help him so bad is because he loves him. I could be wrong though. The face he pulled while looking at shirotani pretty much told me that he loved him regardless.

Thank you! I read the translation that was posted here and I really think like that too now! I thought before that shirotani was a replacement for nishigaki because that was what I read (before I read the translation). Now I think kurose really likes shirotani.

SPOILER SPOILER I read someone comment that on chapter 31 we see that kurose's friend committed suicide and that shirotani was, in the beginning, someone to replace him (or that he wanted to cure him in memory of the old friend). Does anyone know anything about it???
