I think she did that because jade was being too nice when he was supposed to be a tyrant in the future. She thought that she needed to toughen him up to get back to the flow of the original story since her main goal is going back to her world.
the original story has to continue in order for her to go back to her own world. in the previous life, she didn't know what went wrong, so she assumed that Jade didn't become a tyrant, thus changing the storyline. She has to turn him into one after her death and make him end up with the male lead

Am I the only one who doesn't understand her actions? They are not reasonable at all? I just don't understand why she wanted him to get mad, why she destroyed things etc.??
