This is just my opinion but reading bl for the sex
    Scenes

    Idontfuckingknow May 9, 2021 1:17 am

Like reading cuz you wanna see two mens fucking and not the relationship as a whole (idk if that made sense?)

    here are sum:

•Wanting to get railed my BL men
    i see it almost everyday.
•Reading bl for sex scenes, as stated by sammi, they are correct.
    •Wants a non-bl manga become a bl manga

Applying bl sterotypes to real life mlm, you can read sex scenes but if you like it specifically because their gay not just cuz it's hot guys it's festishizing

Wanting to get railed isn't festishizing you can't stop attraction

True, it would be fetishizing like if you wanted to be a male to get railed by him right? I’ve seen a lot of people saying “I wish I was a bl character” even though they identify as a woman

Calling mlm “sin babies/gay babies”, pretty much infantalizing them in general

it kinda is because they want to get railed as a man? this behavior also becomes extreme to the point they start to consider themselves as trans *only* for that reason

i think you should ask this on the sharing page thingy it's a good/informative discussion to have and more users will answer there. ( if you don't want to i could do it since i'm interested to learn too!)
For me fetishizing BL is to consistently sexualize characters, stereotype them into sexual roles. BL itself is created fetishizng homosexuality. so when fetishizing it's not boys love anymore, it turns to sex and harmful stereotypes that reflect on mlm.

    it is?
why would you want to get railed by BL men?? they're in a bl manhwa for a reason?
sure some might be attracted to females.
Attraction is okay, but wanting to get fucked is weird

I think it can be both not festishizing and festishizing, if you look at it wanting to be a bl character in a bl living essentially the perfect life anyone would want that but if it were for any other reason like I said specifically because you'd be gay It'd be festishizing

Simple because they are hot guys doesn't matter if they are in a bl or sl still hot fictional characters

I'm talking about not wanting to get railed as a guy just as is

For me it's the fact that heterosexual roles are applied to the characters. I mean the couples are literally categorized as either the seme or uke with the seme being all masculin and strong and a weak small uke (usually). This is not only highly fetishizing but is also a strongly inaccurate representation which is hurtful to the lgbt+ community.

Its not yet mentioned but the biggest sign of fetishizing to me is applying the “uke” “seme” concept to real gay couples

I will make it simple, through differentiating kink and fetish

Kink: give you an add of sexual energy in an intercourse (such as filming, or tying yourself)

Fetish: if you "only" get arousal if you have that object in you (such as hand fetish, you can only be arouse if another people hands are beautiful in your perceptive)

So in BL, it will only be a fetish if the only way you can get arousal is through reading it and masturbating from it.

dont get it too complicated, many psychiatrist already studied fetish and kink, you can get a more clear definition from medical websites.

Or even the terms used in real life, like saying “omg he looks just like the bottom from that bl” which is DISGUSTING don’t compare real life people to BL wtf
