What’s the difference between a “manhwa” and a “manga” ?

    Manga is Japanese and manwha is Korean

    manga are in pages, black and white, and read right to left.

    also, manhua are never explicit bc of the policies in china, whereas manhwa and manga can roam those territories

    also the long strip format are also called webtoons! they originated from south korea and are widely used now, e.g. there are western webtoons on the Webtoon app. it's definitely the most popular format but there are manhwa and manhua's out there that look similar to manga as well
