Y'know, I've seen many people saying that Rood could be Shic's master because Shic seems to be looking for him all the time. And as much as I wish that were true, I feel that it's impossible. The master that Shic is looking for is most probably Lanoste, the head of the Association. Remember how he is able to control Shic? Although it does surprise me that Shic starts looking for him first rather than his beloved Blackie.
