Maybe it will help them breath and rest for a while. In that way they can have a clearer mind. Maybe the author is having personal problems, and pushing themselves to draw/write will not help reduce such stress.

i don’t see how stopping the uploads would relieve stress from the author. if anything it’ll cause them more stress since their story won’t get as much attention/money and all their hard work would go to waste. not to mention it could be a different reason all together.
