I think so. Reading it just now felt familiar, although some parts were different. But I'm about to rewatch the anime, so I'll know for sure tomorrow. Someone might answer before then.

it ended at the same point but very differently. for example (spoilers ahead)

in the anime nezumi and shion seperated right after the wall was destroyed. whereas in the manga, nezumi followed shion back to his home and met his mother and even slept on the same bed as shion :D
The overall ending was the same, but parts were different. For example, no one dies in the manga. The manga also has more characters involved in the No. 6 conspiracy that the anime leaves out. Inukashi and Rikiga also played different roles in the take down of the correctional facility. And baby Shion ends up in different places. I prefer the manga ending overall, although there was no kiss.
Guys i want to know, is it the same ending as the anime? Because i watched the anime, but still want to read the manga!!! （￣へ￣）
