I think the author might be doing that intentionally? To show how disgusting the story is getting over time. That’s why he looks ugly and the girl keeps looking younger to me.
i just went back to reread the first chapter and holy shit the art style has changed so much...and not in a good way. he was actually hot at first but he looks so gross now
