Okay so this is a super late reply but i'm still gonna respond. Ill make it in chronological order and it will be long! so when the protag was a child, his mother was raped at 16 in a carnival resulting in the protagonist (Adrian). his mother always hated him, she was never physically abusive but very distant and neglectful, on top of that she sold herself to men which the protagonist didn't like. At age 10 his mother took him to a carnival where she abandoned him, the protagonist, though it took time, managed to find his way home and witnessed a scene of his mother being stabbed, he went inside and instead of helping his mother he continued to stab her with the knife, essentially killing her. He than felt uncomfortable and began covering her eyes as they were starring at him. Fast forward to the present day, he became a school teacher to prevent any student becoming like himself, whilst simultaneously he would get in relationships with male, usually young prostitutes which always lead to him killing them and blind folding them like he did his mother. This is where he meets Lawrence(his lover) who became a male prostitute in search of his brother who went missing, we find out later that this brother is in charge of the prostitutes and is just basically a horrible person. Lawrence having already known who Adrian was decided to pursue him based on being attracted to him despite Adrian being a serial killer, the two eventually start a relationship, until Lawrence's brother re-finds him, beats him, drugs him and than forces him to go and kill Adrian, Lawrence agrees to do so, lying of course, and threatens to kill Adrian with an un-loaded gun, trying to get Adrian to kill him, which Adrian does in partly self-defence and as well his deep indebted need to kill, after Lawrence is killed by Adrian, Adrian is taking to a psychiatric ward were after two years he jumps off the roof to be with lawrence, so he kills himself. I know it's long but this is every pivotal moment, if you have any deeper questions just ask *blows you a kiss*
