To my knowledge most mangas that are Chinese are really cliche and have similar art. It's kinda sad
What I find sad about is they are written by women who don't mind romanticization of any form of abuse.
Not to mention it can't have effect on some readers .
Boys being over-protective or over-controlling is not cute and romantic nor hot and charming
