Internalized Sexism

Some of y’all need to look deep within yourselves and ask why your so quick to vilify innocent female characters and then turn around and feel bad for the abusive, narcissistic man. First people were saying the wife deserved her abuse and that she had it coming. And now y’all are coming for and insisting that the innocent 24 year old has some shit up her sleeve ? That she’s sus? Where are you even getting this from, cause clearly it ain’t from the story itself. Please stop being so blatantly sexist. It’s disgusting.

I do think the 24 year old is questionable to the degree she could just have agreed to the meeting because she wants a foot in the door for the film industry but other than that I feel she's pretty normal. I'm also surprised at how quick it seems for others to assume she's another villian type but I guess we'll just have to wait and find out

I'm a hardcore feminist and when I say hardcore I mean that by being one I'm simply putting my life in danger in my country but still, this has nothing to do with misogyny, this is a BL manga and readers want to see boy × boy love so any hint - or even the lack of it - of a female character that might ruin their relationship would make the reader automatically hate her, I don't hate neither women but it pisses me off when you guys throw misogyny right and left, this generation is making a drama out of everything to the point of invalidating real life problems because of how annoying they sound.

I doubt your the hardcore feminist as you say your are, if you believe that this is invalidating real life problems. This is real life, they way people react here is the same way they’ll react in real life. You normalize it here, your gonna normalize it your everyday life too.

Just because this is BL does not mean people can just disrespect women. Hating on a female character that’s done nothing wrong and isn’t written to be hated just cause she has feelings or is associated with a male character is just plain and simple sexism. Or in this case, internalized misogyny. As you said, this is BL. The only couple that’s gonna be endgame is the gay one. The women have no chance, so there’s even less of a reason to hate them.

Furthermore, it sounds like your using a “I’ve had it worse, so your problems don’t matter” argument. I understand that there are places and situations far worse then I could ever live, but that does not mean these issue are less important. Just because you don’t see them the way I do, doesn’t mean they are invalidating feminism.

you're being annoyingly over dramatic for no reason and we honestly do not claim crybabies who like to play victims when it isn't needed, I'm positive that none of the ones who commented that they can't stand the new female character think this way in real life, this is a fictional world where basically every character the author introduces play a role in the story and it's only natural for readers to think twice about the two women and the manager himself because guess what? new characters think to third wheel all the time.

stop acting all woke when it isn't needed because again, it's stupid and annoying, feminists have way more serious sht to care about rather than getting angry at people who can't stand a character that happens to be a female.

    I can't believe this generation
