Really? I don’t feel bad for him at all. First of all, he’s a cheater which is already enough for him to be abandoned, but if that wasn’t enough he also chases her around relentlessly. He doesn’t respect her boundaries and only listens to his own narrative :/

Yea that's also why I dont pity him that much. It's more like "pls find happiness with sb else so that you don't chase after her anymore cuz well...she has another guy now" like "it's your fault it ended. Dont be sad about it"
That's a good choice he can make. Maize won't come back to him anyway and if he chooses to chase her, he'll only stay sad. By becoming royalty and maybe trying to love the princess, he might become happy.
Tbh I always find it quite sad to see a second Male lead, who actually rly loves the female lead, get rejected and heart broken. Tho I must say it's his fault that their relationship ended and he should accept that there's no going back.
