Shou-chan is so freaking annoying like dude has an inferiority complex coupled with his sense of woe is me attitude regarding literally everything. Yeah I get that he was super scared to give himself hope and tried to test out tomaki's love for him. But he acted like so superior just for having "genuine feelings" when he himself hadn't given their potential relationship much thought beyond surface level.
And the whole tomaki asking him if hes thought if them having sex. I didnt see it as tomaki equating love with sex. More like he's saying that he's taken their future into consideration, including having a physical relationship etc., and actually really considered what being in a gay relationship would be like. Whereas shou-chan, despite his love confession, was so convinced he's gonna get rejected that he never thought of the actual reality of what being in a relationship with tomaki would be like. And that's what he gets mad about. That even tomaki is ready to wait for him to believe in his love, shou-chan never really took the possibility of tomaki loving him seriously up till then.
Anyways maybe its because I hate indecisiveness or people with that kind of defeatist attitude that shou-chan really irritated the hell out of me. I was kind of happy when Asumi smacked him on the head with her bag lol.
