In the novel, Doug gets to have proper sexual relationship with Chika first and have a child before Gail in order to be able the royal family of Leonidas to protect Chika under the guise as family member of royalty.

I mean, it just seems like Douglas gets to do it with Chika more.

Yes.they will have their own to be able to have a child with Gail.
Gail will also encounter a big problem when Chika already conceives their child.

I feel like Gail is being mistreated or something.
That’s why I prefer Gail and Chika.
They sre more emotionally driven, making their relationship stronger, compared to just smut and sex.
I remembered Doug explained before that bear beastman are more affectionate than others. But they will overcome the obstacles and their child will grow up wonderful.

So that explains why Doug and Chika’s relationship is more physically-driven.
I just hope Gail is jot treated unfairly.

It seems like Douglas (Lion) is getting special treatment.
I hope that when Douglas and Chika (Uke) finally do it, Gail (Bear) will be there too, like how Gail and Chika’s first time.
It didn’t seem special at all, it didn’t even take up much panels.
So I hope Douglas and Chika’s first time will be in the presence of Gail as well just to be fair, otherwise, I’d feel bad for Gail because he was the one who saved Chika.
So far it’s a healthy 3p.
But I kinda get this feeling that the author favors Douglas more than Gail.
