ok so here's my take on answering you. The reason she isn't divorced is probably because she wants her son to become the next Duke. She seems to try laying foundations for him; be it monitoring some of the Duke's fief, getting people to follow her son, forming contracts with the spirits. She probably didn't just want a simple normal family for her son. She wants to give him the glory he could easily achieve as a Duchess and Duke's son.
The reason spirits didn't help her before was probably some complications with spirits idk. It seems like you have to call forth the spirits for them to come. They just can't come and go as they please (plus not anyone see them much less call for them.) Idk why in this life the spirit can contact her. Some condition was probably met. Maybe it's the greenhouse? idk. In her previous life, she locked herself up in the mansion maybe?

Well about the spirit I kinda wanna say fuck them Idc bout them cause they could've help her in the past so yea. The mc could have just divorce or runaway so yea what you guys say makes more sense and idk how she even had her son in the first place if they were never even suppose to be together cause of her dad

Brown haired knight helped her to save the kids. You don't see him too much in the story but he's the first one that didn't talk behind her back. He's just normal dude unlike other douchebags.
So to open dukes romance route all you have to do is depression and losing your child. Also how can you take away someone's child just because you heard someone say that she can't hold him stfu. ML sucks Mc has plot armor. Also why pixies didn't helped mc when she needed them what a bs. I don't like any of these characters except that Brown haired knight.
