Hi. I completely agree
as someone who's been like you said manipulated and was locked away from the world until she's supposed to serve her purpose, i found her reactions and approaches reasonable. She's like a kid who's learning the ropes of people with different views and goals in life as well as discovering the fact that a persons motives can come from many forms. Learning that not everyone doesn't only have kindness in them.
She genuinely long for a family with the same blood as her, only because she believes that being blood related can grant her unconditional love and ideal family. Her actions doesn't hold malice and she does know her boundaries despite being naive. Like on the earliest chapter, she doesn't really approach Anastasia a lot although she does attempts so which is completely within the line since they're practically on tea parties meant for socializing and only watches her most of the time. Despite being bias at first after learning her true father, she still hesitates and consider stuffs. Like c'mon, give the child a break and don't blindly hate her.
Hey guys can we stop hating on Jennette! She's been manipulated since birth. Yea she's dense and naive but she was locked away from the world her whole life and she's only 14-16. She's in no way the same as Helena
