I was so comfortable with the fact that LWJ already knows about WWX not having a golden core that I totally forgot, at this point he still doesn't knows this fact. So when he gave WWX his Suibian I was like "Lan Zhan what are you doing, that's rude!!! And then I was like oh! Yeah he doesn't knows yet"

But WWX is in Mo Xuanyu's body now and he does have a golden core but his cultivation is too weak because Mo Xuanyu was kicked out of LanglingJin sect where he was studying(?)

Actually according to novel, he suspected that WWX lost his golden core so he wasn't surprised when he heard about it. They only made it dramatic in a live adaptation and i enjoyed every second of it

No, he was still surprised about it. He suspected it yes, but he also did not really want to believe it. I love this scene so I’ve read it multiple times so I’m sure about this lol.

Yeah. I do think that the line action made it super dramatic. The way the revelation happened in the novel felt more natural

Exactly. It wasn't over exaggerated like the LR but also wasn't plain in the novel. It felt really natural and real. There were not many words that were exchanged but WN properly expressed the feeling of that moment
