I commented on hosiks story saying "why would anyone want someone like sunbae cause he literally raped, gaslit, and manipulated hosik" people replied trying to defend him ? /Overlook it ? And some even chalked it up to it just being "possessiveness" like no, that is way beyond possessiveness. That post also has a 21-20 dislike ratio
That's insane... the amount of people that will continue to glorify and romanticise r*pe and manipulation shocks me.

Why do people read mangas/hwas/huas where the 'seme' is an asshole, to the point of abuse, r*pe, etc, when the plot and character development is mediocre at best? It's unsatisfying and doesn't make sense for the the abuser and abuse victim to end up in a genuinely happy relationship after some easy apology and sudden character development.
