Yes, it's really frustrating. I just want him to be honest what he really feels about her and that he really like her as his friend nothing more. And I think what he feels will really make her realize why he want to be friends with her and nothing more. And it's up to her to decide if she still want to be friends than making her more confused and hurt by his action. You know even at the end of the day there will still be people who will be hurt but I just think that being more honest will clear the misunderstanding more and lessen the impact more. I think seo should say what he feels about this to the girl like it would give peace the girl to know what seo feels, so she can move on and find happiness. So all can avoid hurting each but by being honest will lessen the pain.
