I mean, the two of them shared something like familial live for each other. They are really good friends. So it’s not like there is nothing there. Also, the term threesome just means (in a sexual context) three people having sex. Whether that be all equally, or like this where it’s one partner for two people, it’s still a threesome. On top of this, I think they are genuinely a throuple (three people in a relationship is a throuple) because they care for one another, but the love they have for Chika is contains lust, whereas the love they have for each other is more familial.
