dude I completely agree..they are complaining over something for free..their argument is well their was someone already translating it and another group came in and did it...well the author did the story and is making people pay to read but this website came in and is giving it out for free.

The other person isn't taking that long in the first place. Y'all are just too impatient to wait. They literally had an update of another manhwa on May 1st. Good translation (especially cleaning and redrawing) takes time but you are just too impatient to wait. You didn't even bother to check what's up with the og translator and decided to just let this new person swipe that to make a worse version. You are the entitled ones, who want everything served to them instantly. Have fun eating the trampled sandwich and praying to God that you don't get sick. Even if the new translation was better, it is still bad if the old translation didn't have any issues. If you switch to another team's work, you are supposed to upgrade not downgrade. Why should I not have standards for english version of the comics? It's not even a high standard in first place. Don't ruin the manhwa. That it. And probably do a better job than I can with Google translate and PicsArt. Anyway, what do you mean don't make it worse? The only people I am making this worse for are people who can't even copy and paste the native name of the comic in Google search bar.

I think we are or at least I am not saying it isnt fucked to have someone else take the update over especially if someone is already doing it. We are just saying its a lot of people having a lot to say for complaining on a free website. Sweetie I could care less about how long it takes, I’m using someone else’s perspective as an example but I honestly don’t care whether the quality is good or bad, if I’m having to wait a day or a month. Because guess what? uploaded their translation and kept on deleting and reuploading it. There was literally a "Father, I don't want to get Married" update of same chapter everytime I finished a manga and refreshed the page. It only had half of the pages of the chapter and was completely blurry. Then (next day for my timezone) Ishigami, Raya (or Rayna) and 2 more people came and started competing about uploading their translated versions here. They kept on deleting and re-uploading their versions instead. Then Emma uploaded her translation of Ch 26 (the only atleast understandable version) But by that time, everyone was angry at them for the repeated notifications and sniping the work of Elle's Cult. I double checked on the server whether they dropped it but they didn't. Dunno what else happened but the others deleted their chapters except Emma. I didn't keep a track after that but I guess Emma ended up deleting too. Just wanted to make sure you are saying you are cool with that chaos.

Back to what you said, is it really a high standard to ask for them to literally not ruin the manhwa? You want to read images cut in half, completely blurry with many dialogues missing just because it is free? Even though the website where the official translators upload it is also free? Even though you can literally Google the Korean name and find free decent, good quality raws (the same place these new 'translators' stole the chapter with watermark and somehow managed to make it completely unreadable) You can read this whole novel for free, both english and korean version. And most people who can afford to do support the author on official sites too. We do support the creators on Webtoon, Tapas, Webcomic, Lezhin, Kakaopage or even physical copies when we find series we love on piracy sites. And why do you think these official translators work so hard to get the raw chapters (most with permission or someone purchasing it and sharing it) Why do they put weeks and months of effort to clean, redraw, translate and proofread it even though they can just make a bad version in 45 minutes? That's literally how long it takes.
It's because they love this series that much and want to share it with others. Most official scantalations rely on patreon instead of making you purchase the chapters. And these teams often decide among themselves who goes to mangago, who goes to mangaowl etc so that there isn't an argument between 2-3 teams translating the same comics.

You missed my point reading on here, you don’t get to have a standard, you’re getting things for free because guess what? Not all the manwha on here is free on the real legal page where the artist posts, take Lezhin for example, sure the first three episode are free but then you have to pay coins, and if your not getting free coins from an event (which webtoon does that) then you’re spending money to buy the coins, not all webtoons are free and that’s just a single example I’ve given, also even English translations from official translators aren’t always free either. I’m lucky I’m getting to read this stuff for free because the truth of the matter is that the translators whether it’s good or not are illegally taking those artist’s work and giving it out like candy which is extremely wrong, I mean some artists live off of their work. You complain about quality but you don’t realize that half the shit you read is being illegally sourced to you, and every reader who comes here is another dollar lost for the artist who make their money from people who buy their comics. their hard work is being ruined every time somebody comes on here and uploads, or gives out their webtoons translated or not for free.

If the official translation is free then go read it on the official website, don’t read it here if you can actually read it on the official website, even doing that is helping the artist out so why don’t you do that? For all the manga and Manwha people paid money for, translated regardless of quality, and put here you shouldn’t be bitching when you didn’t do any of that shit, you don’t know how hard every single person who translated works regardless of quality, but you’re assuming because it’s bad than they must not have worked hard on it but that isn’t the case often. (I’m saying this generally, not for one specific manwha) I mean think about drawing for example, someone who’s been drawing for a year doesn’t always have good looking art, but that doesn’t mean they simply didn’t try, and you’re the shitty person for saying that because I’m sure they did. Now, again for people claiming things to translate like they own it, they really don’t. Sure, let's stop this. It has been 3 days since you started this topic. Still don't know whether you are for or against piracy tho. Regardless, this manhwa and it's novel are free on many platforms. Let's put it more simply, if something is more easily available people are going to work hard to make a better version than others. That's why I understand why people are extremely annoyed at someone uploading an unreadably bad version. In my case, I just have a soft spot for this novel and I have been waiting for 1+ years for an english version. And I am still at early chapters on official sites. Almost all sites mentioned do have an 'earn free coins' and/or 'wait for certain hours to unlock' system too. Even likes and comments are a huge support. So you guys can still help authors and translators without spending actual money.
Well, I am kinda mad about the second part. Wdym switch sites? Legal ones aside, do you want me to make an account on every single piracy site to find a good translation? Mangago is one of the best sites (accessibility and availability) Where else am I supposed to keep track of the stuff I read on multiple sites? Mangago is basically a better version of MAL for me. Plus, with piracy, I know which comics are not worth spending actual money.
I am still not sure if you read the translations before Emma's chapter. I genuinely don't get how you are defending that. I want you to go to funbe, newtoki etc, download the pages, put it through Google lens erase and type the result and finally put it in a roll (most phone can do all this without even an additional app) Then read the result and compare it to ch 23-25 that was uploaded here before. I can guarantee you that it is way better. I help with novel translations so I know how much effort it takes to do a proper translation. That's why I am not complaining about the language of the translation. It takes some practice. I am complaining about the quality of the chapters. Ch 23 before was literally only half of the pages in a chapter pasted out of order that was put through a blur filter. I just feel bad for you if have been reading such chapters till now.
