Ah man, it just hit me the way the last chapter ended actually makes the story really sad. I think Tatsumi is basically saying that this semester is going to be the last and only time he can truly be himself, and he'll go back doing whatever was expected of him afterward. Which is why he was looking down really sadly thinking "my last chance"
