But that’s because she’s acting that way. We can tell she knows what’s happening. She’s aware of her position and how fleeting it could be. The moment the emperor dislikes her or the prince because maybe she’ll slip up and continuously decline him, she’s fucked. I don’t doubt other families would switch up to.
