I can agree that the house is just = cattle. It is true that the humans status there became lower than pigs. Isn't it just natural to emphathize to your own species before others. Humans will sti isee them as human because it's part of their own species.
—"They're just like the pigs here so why do we view the demons as cruel?"
We don't want to see other human being killed by an 'organism'. That 'organism' will be a threat to our survival. That threat = cruel. Humans are selfish by nature because of their survival instinct you know
—"What makes humans and cattle different? 'Demons' are clearly the superior sepcies here so doesn't it make it okay for them to eat humans since we the superior species in this world get to eat the inferior species?"
Just because you're part of the inferior species doesn't mean you can't put up a fight. That's what our survival instinct is for. We have our own moral compass. Demons may say "It's okay bcs we're the predator" and Humans may say "No. That's cruel". So who said the correct one? Both are correct... If you're going to their own perspective.
—"Just what is the solution? Can there NEVER be a solution where everyone lives at peace? And just w h y is the world designed that way? Will there never be peace without suffering?"
The only solution I see is
I don't see anything wrong with Emma and other humans eating animals because 'hunger' exist.
So im literally just starting to read this because I'm always late to the party. After 50 questions in, I'm now stuck in a moral dilemma. Thr children being farms is exactly what we're doing to cattle/pigs etc etc in our world now, so just what makes us empathize for humans there? They're just like the pigs here so why do we view the demons as cruel? What makes humans and cattle different? 'Demons' are clearly the superior sepcies here so doesn't it make it okay for them to eat humans since we the superior species in this world get to eat the inferior species?
But then, if we go down the route that it's cruel to eat inferior species then literally everything in this world is disgusting except plants which make their own food. Plants know they're dying too, they just don't feel pain, so isn't killing them cruel too?
Just what is the solution? Can there NEVER be a solution where everyone lives at peace? And just w h y is the world designed that way? Will there never be peace without suffering?
Also would like to point out that emma and the others as humans obviously have to eat to live too, does that make them just like those demons? Why or why not?
This dilemma has always been there for me and now it's just getting stronger, survival of the fittest might be the answer but like, ain't that still cruel, no one lives in peace in a survival of the fittest kinda world..
So confused ┗( T﹏T )┛
