Is Giovanni Daniel his full name. I’m also confused on everyone’s ethnicity. Gio and his adoptive family seem to be Italian American, which makes Noah American. And Felix is Korean? One more possibly spoiler Q although I think we all know now...

If Gio is related to Leegang then he’s actually Korean as well???? Did his new family change his name. I don’t remember them adopting him from a different country. They shouldn’t have been speaking the same language initially.... Maybe I just need to reread this. Haha

I think? someone told me the names were whitewashed in the translation, so Daniel and Felix etc. were korean names in the raws? If they were, I'm guessing "giovanni" in the raws is his adoptive family's name for him while "Daniel" is the whitewashed version of his korean name

Oh, that makes sense. So Daniel is his given (first) name?

yes, i'm guessing daniel is his birthname, and he uses that in settings where that's easier like his workplace

Giovanni is his real name. After he got adopted, his adoptive parents gave him a new name "Daniel" because he's going to live in America, and not Korea anymore. But still, he still prefers to be called Giovanni tho, but I guess he's also fine with Daniel.

I hear ya, but Giovanni isn’t a Korean name, it’s Italian. So that makes sense if the names have been whitewashed.
But if he’s going by “Daniel” at work. it makes me think it must be his last name. Which is confusing because - while it can be a last name (surname/family) - Daniel is most often a first (given) name.
