Man I would also love to live as a man. They have so much more privilege that I don't know what to say. That said, I guess I might still choose to be a girl if given a choice.
Cuz my bestfriend and lover is shy sweetie and we definitely won't be able to be bestfriends if I were to be a male. In fact, the two of us had even talked about it before and came to the conclusion that if I was a man, I would definitely be popular but she and I wouldn't be close to each other.

I live in New Zealand, dunno why the other western countries are being so odd. I would say women do better than men because:
Outright prejudice toward women is extremely uncommon and statistically women perform better academically and have the ability to express themselves openly. Men have higher rates of mental health issues, overall perform lower in academics and consistently make up over 90% of the prison population. I would say that while life as a woman does suck at times a heavy and concerning presence of toxic masculinity in our culture does shows it's effects on the rates of bullying and mental health issues. But then it depends on where you live here as well ╮(￣▽￣)╭

yeah but that doesnt mean society will ease on the misogyny alot of people would say ofc its a given a girl should work hard but when a boy does literally anything everyone would be in awe and compliments them to no end women are being taken for granted while men are babied and put in a higher degree than women in opinion and basically everything

I dunno, where I live we don't really have that. Girls get acknowledged plenty for academics and there are a wide range of programmes that offer good educational opportunities. I haven't really seen men get babied since they don't seem to recieve excess acknowledgement and they are put under more constraints than women when it comes to expressing themselves (toxic masculinity and weird societal expectations) and are more likely to be doing worse off in life than women (judging by the prison stats that I mentioned).

prison stats are different from actual societal realilties lol. where can you get out after 12 and be ensured to not get raped. where can you wear whatever you want to, and not be ensured to be raped. women are oppressed for BEING women. whatever men go through doesn’t happen by NATURE of them being men. it happens because of circumstances, at any situation a man put in the same place as a woman has larger chances of survival. just because women get some opportunities to level 6000 years of inequality for the last 50-60 years rlly doesn’t mean the 6000 years of inequality disappears lol.

no issues. i think the key to understand female oppression is circumstances and grey areas, and since these things aren’t explicit, it’s okay to not understand them in the beginning.
