oh that yeah I've seen the forum but I've been trying to find the translated novel or at least a version that i can use google translate on. What you said is true based on the recent chapter + the spoilers. It seems the prince forced himself on her and she might be clinging on to Erin bc she relates to her. idk if relate is the right word but like she feels a connection with her. She mentioned how when she saw her crying, those are tears of true sadness. They both are treated horribly by the prince. tbf f*ck that prince. He's a coward that takes out his anger on Erin and forces his feelings on helena. Not to mention him slapping Erin. I never thought I would hate a male character as much as I hate sovieshit (remarried empress) but at least that bastard the decency to not put his hands on navier. Tbh i also don't like prince's friend. The way he threatened erin over that incident with the scars on helena's hands even tho he didn't even know the full story. I'm iffy with that priest (i mostly don't like him but I'm trying to keep an open mind). and their audacity to start liking Erin after the way they treated her...no...just no. I'm glad this isn't one of those stories where the villainess ends up with a guy that killed her or treated her like sh*t.
