I don't think he is delusional. He wants protect her not cause he thinks she is weak but cause she always put herself in danger like last time. Though I also think he should take her feelings into account
He didn't say he needs to protect her. She's too careless with herself and too confident. Yes she's strong but not fully there yet. She needs to think back a little because she always thinks she's right
honestly nine has no right to tell her anything he has no right to think she needs to be protected by him and i'm starting to not like him because he thinks he NEEDS to protect her even though she can obviously protect herself but he ignores that fact and continues to had dilusions about protecting her on the other hand this chapter was kind of hard to understand and its not the original scans group please don't upload over them its very rude and insulting when someone does that
