Everyone is going off on yeonwu's lack of self-respect so I'll give my two cents on that too. I think everyone is fixated on Taehwan's internalized homophobia that they fail to notice that yeonwu too has a different case of internalized homophobia. it's important to remember that he's still not embracing his sexual identity due to his dad being super religious so it's kinda natural that yeonwu thinks of himself as a sinner and unworthy. Besides, he is removed from that religious environment, however, the damage to his mentality has already been done. he may be a fictional character but sadly a lot of LGBT people have to go through a similar thing because of the religious prejudice against them. let's not be quick to show frustration and judgment, some of us have to tolerate that in real life.
