Jun Xuanxiao’s soldiers accidentally killed Yu’s mom.. Yu wanted to carry his mom’s dead body all by himself and he fainted.. Altho the wedding is not stopped by the seme, it was attacked by the Huns. Seme saved the uke and they ran away.. I seriously wanted the seme to suffer a bit longer, NO MUCH MORE LONGER. Seme did get injured, he almost died saving the uke. They later reunited with the help of Jun’s bodyguard (this delicious bodyguard later get it on with Hong Lian and they got married). But, it was revealed that the seme cremated uke’s mother dead body and placed her tomb right next to his deceased family too (one sided marriage by the seme ew).
It took like so many months and years for the uke’s heart to be softened again. He is finally not timid and I swear he treats the seme harsh and it has some SASS lmao, the uke tells the seme he’s just a lowly servant and seme have so much more option.. Seme is hotheaded jfjfjdkdkdkl such a loser but the uke and seme got married again, IT WAS A HELL OF ROLLER COASTER TOO.
