Yah the ml is getting on my nerves to be honest. I hope he discovers more and more about how she is being treated. And I cant believe he didn't see the gun. Like, that would have been a big clue to how bad violets situation is
i agree with everything you said every character is so insufferable to me i hate them, the only characters i like is the FL and the maid and chef that cooked for her that one time (i think the maid was telling her that life is worth living and the FL felt warm about eating the meatloaf the maid cooked).
i also like the nice old lady that was on the beach
I really got my hopes up thinking he would go to the party and realize how much shit he's putting her throught by not accompanying her :/
I hate that the ml is not experiencing the same things that the fl is experiencing. He's so dense that he needs to experience it himself.
Violet so far is the only character I like here. I hate everyone, except the ones who were genuinely nice to her.
Honestly, I wanted her suicide to be successful. Since she is even in more pain, as she continues to live.
Idk if the ml will realize her sufferings throughout their marriage, after her death, and express regret. However, with his personality and beliefs, I believe that he will criticize her for doing so. As in his mind perhaps, he'll think that she wanted a divorce so bad, that she committed suicide. She looks down upon me so bad, that she doesn't want to stay married to me. She even chose death just to be separated from me.
