The ML’s actions and mistreatment form everyone else caused the problem but let’s not point our finger at the girl who’s been abused and thrown around. I’m sorry this is so long but I hate when a webtoon had an abused character who can’t speak up because of their trauma and people in the comments are just “Just speak up. It’s so easy, just speak” when the character has a lot of mental barriers to cross before being able to open up

so you’re going to victim blame here? the FL was betrayed by her brother and thrown into a marriage she was excited for, only to be met with a cruel husband that ignored her and screamed at her to get him 12 million fucking dollars. her family doesnt give a shit about her, and her husbands family only makes things worse. she tried to strengthen her relationship with the ML, she tried to be friendly, she tried to ask him for help, but every single time she was shot down.
did you read the same fucking manhwa as i did? the FL was locked in the closet by her mother in law and her brother. the maids obviously dont give a rats ass about her and treat her horribly. i wouldnt doubt that the FL has been locked in a closet multiple time, perhaps even 4 times a week and this has been going on for years. and then when she ran over to the ML after freeing herself to ask for help, she kept insisting “i need to talk to you, this is really important” she even did this in front of EVERYONE mind you. the ML didnt even give a shit about her.
being like “just speak up its easy” “just be louder” is so ignorant and ableist, especially since people who were abused and shot down whenever they tried to ask for help have so many barriers that restrict them from doing things people would deem “normal” or “easy”. you think she’s the problem? she’s tried, she’s tried being nice, she’s tried asking for help. but what does she get? rejection, emotional abuse, verbal abuse, and even physical abuse. theres a reason why her body is so weak. please check yourself.
What I meant by being louder is litteraly that she should just scream at him. Tell him what she thinks without letting him the time to shut her up. That's what I meant. Anyway whatever you think but in a relationship, this is a contract with 2 persons. And there I can see that she has her flaws too so that's my opinion. The problems come because those two didn't communicate and that's a fact.

I don't find the ml that bad. There are way more shitty husbands on isekai's stories that I would really like to murder if I could T.T But here, they both have their reasons. The main problem is that they never tried to talk about anything. Sure the ML wasn't listening to her since anytime she is quite harsh to him, but it's not like she tries to tell him in an understanding way. She needs to stop keeping everything for herself. And him needs to thinks more about her feelings as well. He is being a little bit egotistic and the FL just step back from the debut because of that. Their couple need a get-to-know therapy. That cannot continue like that. She needs to get louder ! And he needs to become more empathetic towards her and others. (That's someone who had that struggle too who is speaking so...)
Anyway, I find this webtoon quite refreshing. It made me remember of Sky Castle and I absolutely loved it (though it's not the same concept) so I'm okay. The fact that he always thought she was fine and he find out she tried to kill herself is reminding me of Sky Castle at the beginning. So I really felt hyped by that. I hope we will see more struggles coming from and thus, developing the understanding of her husband. Because I find that this is an interesting way of showing him what she trully thinks. For both sides, I find this plot quite interesting.
What I truly despise in some characters are the fact that there is absolutely no reason for the mistreatment they do to others. I find it stupid. In real life at least, therr are always reasons as to why this person or that person are like that. But sometimes in those stories, there are plat characters that are just there to rise up your anger. Here, this is the case of the doctor. We still don't know why he does something like that to FL and it's definitely not because of ML. This is the perfect example of a shitty character. But the ML doesn't seem to be that shitty. He is just a bit introvert and doesn't talk much even to his wife. And he is aggressive which doesn't help him at all. But there is room for improvement. There is lot of room for development in his case so I don't find him bad.
