true but because i read the spoilers and i know what"s gonna happen
let"s just say it is gonna mess you up
he is gonna suffer even more and i think it is stupid that he did all of this because he felt scorned and he wanted to act out

I've read the spoilers too, which is why I thought your comment was kinda harsh. That's not an experience I'd wish on anyone, even someone I hate. But also because I think we can empathize with both Chun Sam and Min Gyeom. They've both made mistakes in this relationship, and Min Gyeom's actions are a reflection of how he's been brought up without any love or sense of security -- you can't expect someone who's been alone and used all his life by his own parent to suddenly make decisions that someone else (like the rest of us) raised with love and trust would make. Invariably, victims of abuse/neglect tend to choose a roof over their heads over their own emotions. I thought the author captured this mentality really well.

true... but i didn't think of it that way considering that Chun sam and his parents welcomed him into their home and expressed their gratitude towards him. and when he realized how messed up his thought process towards Chun sam was by considering him as a pet he retracted his desire to ask chun sam for help and went towards the dude he worked with.
if it was just a matter of it being a roof over his head he could have chosen either of them but guilt is a weird thing.

his emotions has always played a factor in his choices. it played a factor when he decided to stay with the dude he worked with and not make chun sam aware his dad had kicked him out and it played a factor when he thought he got rejected and ran to the nearest person for comfort and when he displayed a little bit of interest accepted him he choose to settle for the "rebound" than to address what had happened with Chun Sam

why? because he found it easier to run away from the situation and lose himself in a series of bad choices than to ask for clarification

plus there was a part in chapter 23 where he painted himself as a victim but he was no longer the victim he was the offender because he took advantage of chun sam and was using the same mentality as his father where u need something from me therefore i can do whatever it is i want to you and you cannot oppose it.

and quite frankly if something was done to me and i hated it i'd make sure to be cautious and ensure i don't replicate said thing.
