i think they are processing the information and maybe figuring out what to say in response, that is me giving them the optimistic view though. I would just wait a while longer and then if they still haven’t said anything i would text back and then talk about it and if it turns out on the bad side then don’t worry! you don’t need people who don’t understand you in your life anyways. goodluck!

yeah well that's weird that they take this much time, but again I don't see why it should be a big deal that you come out, it's not like they are your parents, they should just accept you as you are, idk things like that are making me mad lmao, they better just have some good reason for not responding and excuse themselves for the late response... So i DID come out to my friends via text (it wasn't spontaneous either we were having full convo's because i can't talk over the phone and covid is still a thing) and they ended up just leaving me on read. I did text them a few hours later but they have yet to respond. Its been two days. Am I Just over thinking and this is a huge misunderstanding? What do i do?
