Ok hear me out, she used her wish to go back to the Duke after their contract ended... And so she's born again(given another chance to be with the Duke).... Like Clea is actually her but she didnt realise... She only remembers when she got poisoned or something and so she made a contract with the demon................................................................................... And now she's stuck in an endless loop of being reborn,forgetting, getting poisoned, making a contract with the demon...etc
