Imagine being trapped and forced to have sex with random people (all of which hates you (except one, the last one)), yet people hate you and call you a predator.
They're just two people in the same shitty situation who found solace in each other. Even if you make them both adults but in an abusive situation where they can only rely on each other, the question will still arise whether they actually love each other or if it's just the result of the abuse they received.
Hate the townsmen, not the two victims. They're the ones who forced a kid to have sex. They're the ones who kept sacrificing people to the deity regardless of age and sex.
If you're uncomfortable and surprised by it, I won't really blame you because chapter 5 just came out of nowhere. I really wish mnggo could add a TW for it.
