Hope makes u see things that are not there. In her case, in each life she hoped that something would change, but when it didnt, she started losing hope little by little until she was hollow.
I feel really bad for her cause she never wanted to harm the ones she loved, but they betrayed her for a whiny bitch, who frankly speaking, i doubt even loves the family and so it makes sense that she would make them pay for their sins.

right. i read the spoiler. and it's really sad and frustrated. she got abandoned. used. and betrayed still she forgive them hoping that they would change and the fact the she blame herself for everything is frustrating. in her 7 lives really showed how much she loved them.
