Wasn't his brother ill?
Ithink they are confusing the short history that was the chapter befor the Last, that was a history that has nothing related with the original, somethimes mangakas does than
Yes Ayato (Kamo twin) became ill, and was going to die. Since they mimic each other from clothes to injuries Ayato became afraid that Kamo would also want to die, so aa a measure Ayato put some distance between them. Then Ayato died, Kamo moved and he became obssed with finding a replacement for his lost brother...
Since so many people seemed to be confused of storyline I thought I would enlighten everyone:
Kamo had a twin brother who died and who he was really close to. They used to be just alike and wear same stuff but his brother started changing and it upset Kamo because he felt like they were becoming distant, then his bro died in an accident and he moved to another city and school, where he met Senpai.
He first started imitating and hanging around Senpai because he was trying to replace his twin bro but he fell in love with him. Senpai's friend Ashinya has feelings for Senpai too, but Kamo and Senpai grew closer.
Kamo finally realized that he didn't need to be just like him to show his love and explains everything to Senpai ,but Kamo also thinks Senpai is in love with his friend Ashinya, however Senpai tells Kamo that he loves him and that he wants to be with him forever.
Kamo goes to school abroad and Senpai, who was going to graduate in a few months, decides to go live with him after graduation. The last chapter shows them meeting up after Senpai has graduated and Ashinya has tagged along as well.
