Is the MC egg still going to hatch or is the egg gone because the mission was complete when he feed and evolved the baby Phoenix?

I wanted to see what type of beast he was going to hatch. But I'm confused whether he still has the egg or not. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

He still has the egg and not yet hatched. He left the egg on one-horn tribe's village because he's going to this war.

So he still has the egg but not holding it at the moment..
