Maybe she finds it more of a cute gesture than a romantic feeling. Plus her mentality age wise does digress a bit so she can enjoy her life more .
I do think they are cute together... but I only ship em after they grow enough for it... at least till her body age catches up with her previous mental age...
I point what you said a lot on I became a maid in a TL novel. There she went to the body of a 14yo side char of a +18 novel she was reading... and the ml is the king... who's is 19 (but looks older) and all men she feels close to are around that age... and people were complaining even tho romance only happens after she gets older... and my point was exactly that it's weirder for grown as women to get into kids bodies and fall for other kids... xD Like... she got a nosebleed 1st time she met the king... imagining the scenes of the novel... and the boy around her age... she calls him a kid...
