I'm pretty sure same-sex relationships in China are illegal (or at least writing manga/manhwa/manhua/making an anime about it is illegal, I'm not 100% sure which one or if both are true), so the author tried to make the anime, manhua and live action as less gay as possible, even tho they are obviously together in the novel... And that's why we would never get that kind of scenes from this one :')

I found it super cute and innocent tho (well, it was a little bit funny when he technically told everyone that Wuxian was "his", lol XD I would understand why people would find it cringe/embarrassing tho. I very rarely feel the cringe, instead, I find it funny, so Idk, but yeah... I don't really feel the characters' embarrassments, I just laugh at them, lol XD I mean, it's them who should be embarrassed, not me XD). He was like a little child getting all embarrassed and all XD
the bathtub scene lololol,the first drunk scene was already drawn and i found it very cute too haha,but honestly i get embarrassed easily,i don't get cringed its just that i dont usually read THOSE kinds of scenes so when i read that i found it difficult to read,but honestly i woundn't mind at all,probably be screaming into my pillow the whole time
